Bear In Heaven-Space Remains

I love the thrill and suspense of listening to a brand new album, especially when it’s from an artist that you’re were just introduced to. I usually start with older material and work my way towards the newer stuff but since this was highly recommended I decided to make an exception to that rule. Anyways, let me get to the point and that is, I Love You, It’s Cool, the third album from Brooklyn three piece Bear In Heaven has my mind completely blown. If there is a heaven then I certainly hope God has a good taste in music and that this album is playing constantly. I had such a hard decision decided which song to upload for you all because honestly, they’re all equally as good and if I could then I’d just post the whole damn thing. Bear In Heaven does everything right in my opinion. Jon Philpot’s vocals are smooth and sexy and they radiate throughout every track. Musically the band is a combination of dreamy synthpop and 80’s new wave with just the right amount of  psychedelic ambiance. All in all Bear in Heaven has crafted something truly remarkable and majestic and even though it’s only May I’m already calling this one of my top releases for the year.
