CASSETTE REWIND: WHAT WAVE? MIXTAPE

I’ve been working on this one for awhile and after a few tracklist changes and titles I’m finally got it together. I’ve been getting great feedback with these and without all of you there probably wouldn’t even be a seventh Cassette Rewind mixtape. The title is What Wave? and it consists of all new artists that have never before been featured on any of these mixes. While a few of them may fall under some sort of “wave” label most of them don’t and I guess that’s partly where the title came from. I was going with a diverse feel for this one and I honestly couldn’t ask for a better outcome. Iglooos-//Aque

Since receiving this alluring track a few days ago in my submissions it’s been playing constantly and I’m sure that once you hear it you’ll be doing the same. It comes from the mind of Zackery Abramo, a young musician from Connecticut who makes music under the name Iglooos. “//Aque” is the first single from his debut ep Itineris due out in late June and judging from these dreamy, luminous sounds I’m definitely eager to hear more. I feel like I’m floating in a sea of ecstasy with the sounds of the soft piano, airy synths, and soothing vocals. What Iglooos has created here is nothing short of pure ambient bliss.
