Spell Hound-Perception

It’s been a few months now since I was first consumed whole by the caliginous and enchanting sounds of Kansas City electronic duo Spell Hound and even now, I can’t listen to them without feeling a sense of eeriness overshadowing me.  The duo is a part of a growing collective/net label by the name of AURAL SECTS that’s constantly delivering a wide array of various forms of electronic music and just like Spell Hound, I find myself coming back to them time and time again. A few days ago the duo dropped a mystifying new track titled “Perception”, the first single from their upcoming album CLARITY, and it’s been receiving plenty of heavy rotation. Even with it’s haunting and bleak atmosphere, the track still possess a glimmer of beauty that’s carried from start to finish, which ends up giving it a perfect balance and making me entranced throughout it’s entirety as well.
