CASSETTE REWIND: HORIZONS MIXTAPE

To be completely honest, when I first created Cassette Rewind back in March of last year I never thought that it’d grow to be anything close to what it is now. CASSETTE REWIND: STEADY HANDS MIXTAPE

Hallmark cards are lame but mixtapes are a lot better. So for that special or incredibly irritating occasion known as Valentines Day, I’ve thrown together my first mixtape of the new year titled Steady Hands. It’s an hour and a half full of swoon worthy material made to help you reflect on matters of the heart, whether good or bad. CASSETTE REWIND: AURAL BLISS MIXTAPE

Nine mixtapes later here I am at number ten. This mix is titled Aural Bliss and it’ll be the last for the year. I’ve probably said this with every single one that I’ve put together so far, but this is my new favorite. The first half is all producer material while the second half consists of either solo artists or bands. CASSETTE REWIND: EAR MAGIC VOL. 1

Now that I’m at the ninth mixtape, I feel like I’m starting to repeat myself as far as these intros go so I’ll try to keep it short. I had the hardest time coming up with a title so eventually I just decided to release the next few mixtapes under a series called Ear Magic. Obviously this is the first volume and I’m extremely pleased with the outcome. I wanted to give my followers and myself some time in between mixtapes so instead of posting these every month I’m going to spread them out and make them bi-monthly instead. I came across a lot of awesome artists lately and so most of the names you’ll find here are fairly new to me too and of course there’s a couple of long time favorites featured as well.
