Sofa Club-Gotta Gotta Gotta

Ever since I posted about the self proclaimed new age boy band Splash it seems that my affinity for the sound has grown and caused me to search out other groups with a similar sound. Luckily I didn’t have to look much further than my email because a link to this next band landed right in my inbox a few days ago. Sofa Club is their name and they’re a three piece hailing from Staten Island with a particularly groovy, synthpop style that’s immersed in 80’s nostalgia. The song “Gotta Gotta Gotta” perfectly demonstrates that flair and for some reason listening to it reminds me of that memorable dance scene from The Breakfast Club. Anyways, you can  hear this track along with three others on Sofa Club’s debut EP Actual Video (available on bandcamp for $4) and if you’re digging this tune as much as I am then be sure to check out the video for it below.
