Echo Lake-Even the Blind

Thanks to Stereogum I’ve got a great track for you all to start off the day. Yesterday the site posted “Even The Blind” and “Wild Peace”, two fresh singles from London duo Echo Lake and their upcoming full length Wild Peace. Like their debut ep Young Silence these two tracks showcase glimmering dream pop sounds that at times tend to fall somewhat on the shoegaze side. Guitarist Thom Hill has a knack for surrounding the listener in lush, vivid atmospheres while Linda Jarvis’ draws you in with her angelic and hypnotizing vocals. Wild Peace is due out on the 26th but while you wait head over to Stereogum to download the title track and “Even The Blind” for free.
